Aerospace Optics
Aerospace optics is a broad field requiring extensive expertise numerous leading edge optical technologies, including interferometry, heads-up displays (HUD) and precision optical metrology. B-Con Engineering has performed aerospace contracts in all of these areas.
Aerospace optics is a field in which B-Con Engineering has made many contributions, most recently to the Phoenix Mars Mission, but also to the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. B-Con Engineering has earned a strong reputation with NASA and first tier aerospace contractors as a provider of aerospace optics components and design services, from opto-mechanical and opto-electronic optronics integration to night vision optics and heads-up displays (HUD).

Optical Metrology
B-Con works with techniques such as infra-red interferometry, which is used to gauge the quality of optical components. Classic light interferometry is the key to measuring immense distances across space, and now atom interferometers are being developed to increase navigational accuracy here on Earth.
Precise optical metrology is one of B-Con's key capabilities. We deliver precision optical systems at all product stages -- from prototypes to production.
